In commemoration of trio-exhibit of the artists; Jo Baer, Lynda Benglis and Jutta Koether, Blend magazine has created in close collaboration with the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven, a special, two language (English and Dutch) publication. The title of the special publication is 'Times 3', the exhibit runs from June 20 to October 4, 2009.

The special publication contains exceptional interviews with the three artists. Next to this, six photographers who have distinguished themselves in the world of fashion photography and whose contributions are regular features in Blend magazine, have created photo-shoots inspired by the works of these world famous artists. The special publication also contains interviews with and contributions of four young artists based in Eindhoven who operate in a smiliar vein or philosophy ast the three feamous artists on exhibit.

The full colour publication numbers 132 pages and is on sale in the Van Abbemuseum during the exhibit and will be on sale in store. Subscribers to Blend magazine will receive the special for free. The special publication is the direct result of the publishing philosophy of Blend magazine that describes the latest developments and trends in fashion, music and the arts. Previously Blend magazine published special publications, such as the Andy Warhol special in collaboration with the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, a photography special on the themes of beauty and eros in collaboration with worldfamous photographer and co-founder of Dazed & Confused magazine, Rankin, and a creative talent special that showcased the leading upcoming creative talents selected by leaing luminaries in the creative ande cultural fields, such as the director of FOAM Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam and the founder of KesselsKramer.
