External ideas can be submitted as proposals. However, the requirement
is that the proposal clearly adheres to the aims and objectives of the
DutchDFA programme.
In principle, projects from external parties need to be proposed via
Steering Group members. The decision to include these projects in the DutchDFA programme will
be subject to the normal routes of preparation in the
Programme Group and agreement in the
Steering Group.

* The basic principle of all DutchDFA projects is that they will be co-financed by the proposing organisation. The level of co-financing will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by checking the proposals against the agreed organisation's tasks and activities for which the applicant already receives public funding.
