Fashion awards

The ‘Grand Seigneur’ is the most prestigious fashion award in the Netherlands. It was established by Modint in 1987 and is awarded annualy to a Duth fashion designer or brand that has achieved national and international acclaim and has helped enhance the Netherlands' international profile in the field of fashion. The winners in 2009 were Viktor & Rolf. The winners in 2010 are Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

G-Star Raw Talent Award
The G-Star Raw Talent Award, awarded during the Lichting event is a € 10.000 prize and an experience trip to New York. The winner will be part of the G-Star Raw backstage team during the New York Fashion Week show.

Dutch Fashion Awards
The Mercedes-Benz Dutch Fashion Awards is a celebratory moment for Dutch fashion, inaugurated to assemble the Dutch fashion world and industry. It is a collective snapshot moment, aimed at developing the Dutch fashion industry and boosting innovative design. The Mercedes-Benz Dutch Fashion Awards draws the attention of the international fashion industry to Dutch fashion design, and links creativity with commerce. This annual event is also a platform for the presentation of highest level of Dutch fashion talent. The winner of the Mercedes-Benz Dutch Fashion Award receives a financial reward of € 25.000, which will enable the label to take further steps in establishing an international profile.
