What are DutchDFA’s programme activities? The main activity of the DutchDFA programme will be long-term tailored programmes for the three selected focus countries. As part of its wider communications strategy, the DutchDFA will develop a parallel programme of activities in other countries. [See
FAQ for more details.]
How do DutchDFA programmes manifest themselves? To consolidate and enhance the international position of Dutch design, fashion and architecture in a sustainable way, the programme is based on three interlinked principles: idea, network and enterprise, making for a layered approach that maximises possible added value.
The programmes in the three focus countries will have three phases: there will be preliminary activities, followed by highlights and subsequently follow-ups. The timing of the programme cycles for the three focus countries will be carefully coordinated so that highlights will be spread out over the four years. If necessary or desired each cycle can be repeated for each DutchDFA focus country. [See
